Overview

Joirvik dental Practice is a private dental practice located in Nether Poppleton. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse/ Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their dental experience.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed about their treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice protocols. Sterilise instruments and manage infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, appointments, and aftercare instructions. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient management. Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to enhance patient care. Reception duties like answering the phone and helping to book patient appointments.

Qualifications

Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting GDC registration as a dental nurse or looking to train as a dental nurse
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
