We are seeking a skilled, dedicated and caring qualified dental nurse to join our team in

in Southwest London. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering exceptional services. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining an organised and efficient practice environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using IT systems. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Carry out infection prevention and control procedures to prevent physical, chemical and microbiological contamination in the surgery. Prepare equipment, materials and patients for dental radiography Process dental radiographs Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimise clinic efficiency. Support the administrative team with organisational tasks as required. Stay updated with the latest dental practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Qualified

Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma and

GDC registration

Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and using practice management software. Excellent organisational skills to maintain an efficient workflow within the practice. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.

Pay: 27,000.00-31,000.00 per year
