Full-time Band A dentist
Applications are invited for a fixed-term (12 months) full-time ( 37.5 hours) Band A Community Dental Officer. This post is based in the Dental & Maxillofacial Department at East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, Surrey.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated dentist to join a team working in the Community Dental Service in East Surrey. This service provides dental treatment for children, adults, and older people who are referred due to physical, mental, or emotional impairment and are unable to access general dental care.
The post-holder will be responsible for providing a full range of dental care to both children and adults with specific needs. There will be opportunities to provide care under conscious sedation. Patient groups routinely treated will include adults and children with learning disabilities, medically compromising conditions and mental health problems. The post holder will provide domiciliary and outreach care, including treating inpatients with urgent needs.
