We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our newly opened dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of both clinical and administrative aspects of dental practice management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice while providing exceptional patient care.

Duties

Supervise and manage staff, ensuring a high level of performance and professional development. Oversee financial management, including budgeting, billing, and maintaining accurate financial records. Handle human resources responsibilities such as recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as dental industry standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Manage patient relations, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience for all patients. Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure quality care and effective treatment plans. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, coordinating with suppliers as necessary.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a healthcare or dental setting is essential. Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Proficient in financial management practices relevant to a dental practice. Knowledge of human resources processes including recruitment, training, and employee relations. Previous veterinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; however, a passion for animal care is beneficial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with patients and staff alike. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure efficient practice operations.
