Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of financial management, human resources, and practice administration. This role is crucial in ensuring that our dental team operates efficiently while providing exceptional patient care. Preference will be given to candidates with a valid GDC registration but is not an absolute necessity.

Duties



Manage the overall operations of the dental practice, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Supervise and support dental staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Oversee financial management tasks, including budgeting, billing, and accounts receivable to ensure the practice's financial health. Implement effective human resources practices, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of staff members. Develop and maintain patient relationships to enhance satisfaction and retention rates. Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow within the practice. Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock. Carry out reception duties when managerial workload is less. Carry out dental nursing in situations where the practice is short-staffed as this will ensure in smooth running of the appointment list.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a managerial role within a dental or veterinary practice is preferred. Strong financial management skills with a track record of overseeing budgets and financial reporting. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of human resources practices, including hiring, training, and employee relations. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient interaction. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 16.00-18.00 per hour
