We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our small friendly Independent dental practice in Airdrie. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and enhancing patient experience.
Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders for patients.
Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and patient records.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Assist with the coordination of dental procedures by liaising between patients and dental staff.
Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of office supplies.
Skills
Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in office software applications and dental practice management systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Strong organisational skills to manage appointments and patient records efficiently.
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
