Role & Responsibilities
Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and diary coordination
Answer incoming calls, respond to email enquiries, and direct urgent messages
Process payments, issue receipts, and handle insurance or finance queries
Maintain accurate patient records in our practice management system
Assist clinical team with smooth patient flow and compliance (GDPR, CQC)
Resolve basic patient concerns and escalate complex issues appropriately
What We're Looking For
Strong customer-service mindset and genuine rapport-building skills
Professional appearance, attitude, and clear verbal communication
Experience in dental or medical reception (advantageous but not essential)
Proficiency with appointment software (e.g., Dentally, SOE) or ability to learn quickly
Excellent organisation, multitasking ability, and attention to detail
Discretion, confidentiality, and adherence to data-protection standards
A proactive, solution-oriented approach under pressure
