Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures
Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments
Handle phone and in-person enquiries about services, treatments, and insurance
Convert NHS patients to private where appropriate
Encourage and assist patients in signing up to dental plans
Promote and support patients in leaving positive reviews
Take payments and ensure all forms, including medical histories and consent, are completed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Manage billing enquiries and process payments in a professional manner
Provide administrative support to the dental team to ensure an efficient workflow
Uphold confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role (dental/healthcare preferred)
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Proficiency in office software and dental management systems (experience with EHR systems is an advantage)
Confident in discussing treatment plans and membership options with patients
Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to learn
