The ideal candidate will have dental reception experience and be the first point of contact for our patients, provide exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and enhancing the patient experience.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments, confirming details with patients and managing the calendar effectively.
Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about services offered.
Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with professionalism.
Assist dental staff by coordinating patient flow and preparing necessary documentation for treatments.
Ensure the reception area is organised and welcoming for patients.
Collaborate with team members to improve office procedures and enhance patient satisfaction.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental environment or patient facing administrative role is preferable or within a healthcare setting.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple diaries and tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Proficiency in using office software and dental management systems is advantageous.
Previous orthodontic experience is desirable.
