StoneRock Dental Practice have a fantastic opportunity for an Dental Receptionist to join our lovely team in Hawkhurst. At StoneRock the team continually strives to create an environment where every patient can receive the highest standard of care that modern dentistry allows. We provide every level of care, from routine family dental visits to complete cosmetic dental makeovers, including dental implants, teeth whitening, veneers, bridges, and other cosmetic dental and facial aesthetic techniques

Hours:

Mon-Thursday 8.30-5.30, Friday 7.30-2.30pm

Key responsibilities & duties:



Greet patients at door and escort them to and from the surgery. Make appointments for patients in person or on telephone for the dentist and hygienist. Be able tocommunicate comfortably and effectively with patients about money and accept payments for treatments in the appropriate manner. Encourage prompt payments and highlight to administration manager any outstanding accounts Help administer the Dentist recall system. Answer the telephone in a personal way and make telephone calls to patients as appropriate. Be capable of using a computer system within the Practice effectively and operate the computerized appointment system efficiently Be responsible for the accurate input of new patient data and change of address information onto the computer data base. Be aware of the importance of the receptionist role in ensuring that every patient's visit is as pleasant and effective as possible Help provide a comfortable, attractive, clean and uncluttered environment for patients Maintain correct uniform and a professional appearance Be flexible with hours of work in case of emergency

Personal and Practice Development:



Regularly attend practice meetings to discuss aspects of the service and to consider improvements. Participate in practice marketing plan and help collect and collate results Be aware of practice business objectives, and work as part of the workplace team to enable the practice to achieve them. Maintain awareness of new developments and dental techniques, which may involve attending courses and/or training, and ensure that this information is passed onto to the other Practice Members. Regularly attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR

Work experience and skills:



Ideally dental background/use of SOE not essential High standard of customer service Confident telephone manner
