We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team in a busy dental environment, providing vital administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the practice.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations using practice management software
Answer phone calls, respond to patient enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Maintain accurate patient records and update personal information as needed
Process payments and handle billing procedures efficiently
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and data entry
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary materials
Support the dental team with clerical duties to facilitate smooth daily operations
Experience with Dentally preferred (Training can be given)
Qualifications
Previous dental experience or dental administrative experience is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in using office software and dental practice management systems
Friendly, professional demeanour with a patient-focused approach
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
