Due to business growth an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding team of dental professionals. We are part of an established group of Dental practices offering Private dental care across the North East.
The ideal candidate must have experience in customer care and the ability to work within a fast paced environment. You must be able to offer patient care to a very high standard.
The candidate must be from a dental or sales background. Dental experience is not essential but the ability to communicate with our patients in a professional caring manner is essential for this position.
You will have an eye for detail, be immaculately presented, be well spoken and have the ability to work well within our team orientated culture.

Hours :- Monday - Friday 36 hours on a rota
Duties will include :-
Operate the practice software (Dentally)*
Answering the telephone and deal with patient enquiries in an efficient, positive and friendly manner*
Receive patients and visitors in a prompt, friendly professional manner*
Notify Clinicians of the patient's arrival*
Schedule patient appointments in accordance with practice policies and keep records of all appointments.*
Operate the practice recall system*
Prepare day sheets for each Clinician*
Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy*
Liaise with dental laboratories, suppliers and organisations and record laboratory work in and out of the practice*
Deal with patient feedback in an appropriate manner and feed back to the practice manager about patient comments and complaints*
Support the sales of dental sundries to patients and ensure patients are provided the patients advice on the appropriate sundries for the their dental health to successful sale*
Manage the appointment book effectively to ensure targets are met*
Keep the reception are clean, tidy and welcoming*
Engage conversation with patients to ensure they feel at ease*
Attend regular weekly reception meetings*
Follow all policies in line with CQC requirements*
Act confidentially*
Speak up if things go wrong*
Ensure the environment is safe*
