Goyt Valley Dental Practice, a fully private and expanding dental practice, is seeking a friendly and professional

Dental Receptionist

to join our supportive team. This is a

maternity cover role

starting in

December 2025 through to March 2027

, with the potential to become a permanent position afterwards.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional private dental care in a modern, welcoming environment. Treatments include Invisalign, Airflow, tooth whitening, general dentistry, and facial aesthetics. Our team includes an Operations Manager, Reception Team, Dentists, Dental Therapist, Dental Nurses (with enhanced duties), and a Decontamination Technician - all working together to deliver an excellent patient journey.

About the Role

As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth administrative experience. Key responsibilities include:

Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner. Managing appointment diaries and scheduling using

Dentally software

. Handling incoming calls, emails, and patient enquiries. Supporting patients with payments, paperwork, and general queries. Liaising with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure excellent service. Maintaining patient confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Warm, approachable, and professional with excellent communication skills. Highly organised and able to multi-task effectively. Confident with IT systems (experience with dental record software is desirable but not essential as training will be given). Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a busy team. Passionate about providing outstanding patient care.
