Yorkshire smiles are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice in providing excellent patient care and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and organisational tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Working along the practice manager to ensure the smooth running of the reception
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner - Ensuring the smooth daily running of the reception desk - Setting up and preparing reception at the start of each day
- Schedule and confirm appointments using dental software
- Manage patient records and update information as needed
- Handle telephone calls and emails, directing inquiries appropriately
- Process payments and insurance claims accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area
Requirements
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is essential
- Proficiency in dental terminology is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
