We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring that the practice runs smoothly and that patients feel welcomed and cared for. Experience with SOE software is desired but training will be provided if needed.
If GDC registered this is paid for, excellent pay with uplifts in April and lots of nights out!
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and ensure a pleasant experience.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders to optimise patient flow.
Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
Contact leads generated by online marketing.
Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially using practice management software.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice environment.
Skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Proficiency in office software applications and experience with dental practice management systems is advantageous.
Attention to detail is essential for maintaining accurate patient records and managing appointments.
Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is key.
Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
