The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to the dental team. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dental Receptionist.
Duties
Greet patients as they arrive and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of the dentist's time.
Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and billing information.
Process payments and manage insurance claims accurately.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Skills
Administrative experience is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in handling paperwork and office tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and staff.
Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in using office equipment and computer software relevant to practice management systems.
