We are seeking a friendly and professional Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Duties
Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments as necessary.
Handle patient inquiries via phone and in person, providing information about services offered and addressing any concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is up to date and compliant with data protection regulations.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, managing correspondence, and ordering office supplies as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred, ideally within a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on customer service.
Proficient in using office software and equipment; familiarity with dental practice management software is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
