We are seeking a friendly, warm, driven and organised Dental Receptionist to join our fantastic Specialist Orthodontic Practice. As first point of contact for our patients, you will be providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.
Duties
Work with our Treatment Coordinator and Practice Manager on achieving targets and helping to grow and expand the Practice.
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations using our practice management software.
Handle patient inquiries both in person and over the phone, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of office supplies.
Uphold a clean and organised reception area to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
Working closely with our Treatment coordinator to provide new Patients with information about their Treatment and then working to book them in to commence
Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred, ideally within a healthcare setting , but not essential .
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Proficiency in using office software and practice management systems is advantageous.
A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
A strong drive and confidence in seeking and bringing new Patients into the Practice
