About the Role
We are seeking a
highly motivated, conscientious, and flexible individual
who enjoys working as part of a busy, supportive team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the reception area and providing exceptional support to our clinicians and patients alike.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
Manage incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently
Maintain and update patient records accurately
Verify insurance details and support payment and billing processes
Assist with administrative duties including scanning, filing, and correspondence
Support the management of overdue accounts and bad debt
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and presentable
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
What We're Looking For
A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (dental experience preferred but not essential)
Familiarity with SOE Exact (preferred but not required - training will be provided)
Confident in using computers and office equipment
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Willingness to cover our Petersfield practice (training will also take place here)
