We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and manage the check-in process.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar effectively.
Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy, ensuring all information is up to date.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries with professionalism.
Assist with insurance verification and claims processing as required.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative or office role, preferably within a healthcare or dental setting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using office software and dental management systems; familiarity with scheduling software is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
A compassionate approach towards patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding at all times.
