We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation of the front office and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring an efficient calendar management system.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
Manage correspondence, including emails and postal mail, as required.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative or office role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
Proficient in using office software and dental practice management systems.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
A compassionate approach towards patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
