We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth operation within the practice and enhancing patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly as they arrive and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
Manage patient records accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with precision.
Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication within the practice.
Perform other administrative duties as required to support the team.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an office or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.
Proficient in using office software and equipment; familiarity with dental practice management software is advantageous.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
