Dental Practice in Carlisle is seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the practice and fostering a welcoming environment for our patients.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively.
Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area.
Perform other administrative duties as required to support the practice.
Qualifications
Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a healthcare or dental settings
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.
Proficient in using office software and dental management systems is an advantage.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
