highly organised, proactive, and patient-focused Dental Receptionist
to join our growing team across our two practices in Ipswich and Colchester.
This is not your average reception role. You'll be the frontline of two high-performing dental practices -- helping manage patient experience, keeping the diary optimised, and supporting our clinical and admin teams behind the scenes.
Patient-Facing Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and professionally -- in-person and over the phone
Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and diary optimisation across multiple clinicians
Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes, collecting details and payments where required
Handle new enquiries using scripts and workflows (training provided)
Back Office / Admin Support
Confirm and follow up appointments (SMS/email/phone)
Update Dentally system with accurate patient notes and statuses
Coordinate between clinical, TCO, and admin teams
Track daily KPIs (e.g. courtesy calls, whitespace, treatment plan acceptance)
Prepare treatment-related documents, printouts, and finance forms
Workflow & Efficiency
Follow daily checklists and protocols with attention to detail
Identify and flag unbooked diary gaps or upcoming patient needs
Work closely with our Admin Lead and Enquiry Coordinator to maintain high standards

Pay: 24,960.00-28,080.00 per year
