Dental Receptionist/administrator

Job Description

We are a very busy 2 surgery NHS practice and are looking for an experienced receptionist to join our friendly team to work along side our staff to deal with the day to day running of the practice. Receptionists are a key part of the dental team, from the first phone call to the completion of treatment, they provide outstanding customer service to all patients.

You will be:



Answering queries ensuring an exceptional patient journey both in person and over the phone

Booking and rearranging appointments in the most efficient manner using a diary-management system

Completing relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within a specified timescale

Taking payments and chasing outstanding patient debt

Liaising with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations

Key skills and experience:



Administrative/Reception experience

Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, gained in a front of house customer facing role Strong attention to detail High level of organisation An excellent team player Positive nature - able to adapt and take on change easily Responsible and reliable with a strong work ethic Able to use IT and computer-based systems Willingness to learn and develop your skills Prior experience in a dental/medical background (desirable)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
