We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice in Hale Bowdon. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This role requires strong administrative skills and a welcoming attitude to create a positive experience for our patients.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of the dentist's time
Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations
Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
Process payments and manage billing inquiries
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a healthcare setting, GDC Number
Strong administrative experience with proficiency in using office software and equipment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
