We are seeking a friendly, bubbly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the dental practice and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations to optimise the dentist's schedule.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services, treatments, and practice policies.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries as needed.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, and managing correspondence.
Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative or office role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and staff.
Proficiency in using office software and dental practice management systems is advantageous.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanour.
A compassionate attitude towards patients, ensuring their comfort during visits.
