Duties
Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirming and rescheduling as necessary to optimise patient flow.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with confidentiality regulations.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
Assist in maintaining a tidy and organised reception area, contributing to a pleasant environment for patients and staff alike.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
Skills
Strong office administration skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling, record keeping, and communication.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to interact positively with patients of all backgrounds.
Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all administrative tasks.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
