Cardiff Ortho is a specialist laboratory located in Llanishen specialising in orthodontics, orthotropics, postural orthodontics, early-stage orthodontics, splint therapy, snoring, sleep apnoea and bruxism appliances. The laboratory is staffed by a team of highly qualified technicians, ensuring that all clients receive a prompt and professional service.

Role summary

We are looking for a GDC registered Dental Technician to maintain and grow our highly regarded orthodontic team.

Experience / Responsibilities

Fabricate and repair orthodontic dental appliances according to dentist specifications. This will include a range of removable, fixed and functional appliances such as Twin Blocks, URA's, Quadhelix and TPA's. Cast and trim stone models. Fabricate a variety of thermo-formed appliances including retainers, nightguards, splints, mouthguards and anti-snoring appliances. Full training provided where necessary. Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Be able to work independently and be a strong team player. Ability to prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met. Effective communication skills to collaborate with the dental team.

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
