Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Therapist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. This position requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient education, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients. Assess patients' oral health and document findings accurately. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Assist in the application of preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations. Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Skills

Proficient in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for creating dental models and treatment plans. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health, enabling effective assessments and treatments. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnostics and treatment planning. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients. Ability to work well in a team environment while also demonstrating independence when required. Strong organisational skills to manage patient records and appointments efficiently.
