Job Overview



We are seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious Dental Therapist to join our team. The position available is for Saturday mornings (9-1pm) with the expectation of working a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month.

The Role



You will be providing direct access to new patients and will be expected to carry out the following under the GDC scope of practice:

obtain a detailed dental history and medical history carry out a clinical examination complete periodontal examination and charting diagnose and treatment plan within competence prescribe radiographs - take, process and interpret films plan the delivery of care for patients and refer as appropriate give appropriate patient advice deliver NHS & private dental treatment within scope and competence

The Practice



We are an independently owned 3 surgery mixed practice in East Kilbride, established for over 90 years.

Planning is underway to add an additional 2 surgeries in the coming months at which time weekday hours for a Dental Therapist will be available.
