Dental Therapist/hygienist
Job Description
Kilwinning Dental Care seeking a dedicated and skilled Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dental practices and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in dental terminology, patient assessment, and a solid understanding of both pediatric and general dentistry. The Therapist will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout their treatment process
Responsibilities:
Conduct oral cancer screenings
Administer local anesthesia as needed
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Dental procedures, such as fillings and deciduous teeth extractions
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
Perform scaling, promoting oral health
Schedule:
1 day, 9-5pm, Wednesday,
Experience:
Dental Therapist-minimum 6months working in Scotland
Licence/Certification:
GDC Registration (required)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 24.00-28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
Work Location: In person
