We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices and demonstrate a commitment to patient care. This role involves working closely with dentists to provide high-quality dental services, ensuring patients receive the best possible care in a comfortable environment.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients, utilising appropriate techniques and tools.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Assist in the development of individualised treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in the creation of dental restorations when necessary.
Conduct medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist licence or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry, ensuring accurate assessments and treatments.
Experience with CAD software is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
