About the Role
We are seeking a confident, patient-focused
Dental Treatment Coordinator (TCO)
with
strong sales
ability to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical and customer service environment, excels at building rapport, and can effectively guide patients through their treatment journey.
You will play a key part in supporting clinical teams, improving patient experience, and driving practice growth through excellent communication, follow-up, and conversion skills.
Key Responsibilities
Treatment Coordination & Sales
Present and explain treatment plans clearly, helping patients understand their options, benefits, and timelines.
Confidently convert recommended treatments into fee-paying bookings using a relationship-based sales approach.
Manage and track all patient enquiries, leads, and follow-ups to maximise conversion rates.
Provide personalised support throughout the patient journey, addressing questions and reducing barriers to treatment acceptance.
Finance & Administration
Process finance applications accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
Provide patients with clear information on payment options.
Maintain detailed records, follow compliance processes, and ensure patient data accuracy.
Patient Experience & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing patients regarding treatment queries.
Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel informed, valued, and supported.
Proactively chase leads from multiple sources including online enquiries, open treatment plans, missed appointments, and past consultations.
Clinical Support (Non-clinical Duties)
Perform intra-oral scans using the iTero scanner for orthodontic, cosmetic, or restorative treatment workflows.
Ensure high-quality digital impressions and accurate case setup.
Practice Support
Work flexibly between two practice locations as required.
Support clinicians and reception teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
Assist with patient consultations, open days, marketing initiatives, and practice growth activities.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator, Patient Care Coordinator, or dental sales role (preferred).
Strong understanding of private dentistry, cosmetic treatments, and orthodontics.
You will be
GDC Registered
with the
ability to perform iTero intra-oral scanning.
Proven track record in sales, case acceptance, or lead conversion.
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain clinical concepts in a clear, patient-friendly way.
Experience processing patient finance applications (e.g., Tabeo, Medenta, Chrysalis, or similar).
Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple patients simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a
dual-site role.
