Leading the Turret Group is Dr Mohit Khurana, one of the country's leading Innovative Orthodontics clinicians.? Dr Khurana is one of the first specialist orthodontists in the UK to have used Invisalign and Dental Monitoring and has treated over 2,000 Invisalign patients to-date. One of the Group's practices in the Northwest has been awarded Diamond Apex Status by Invisalign and that reflects the company's ongoing adherence to clinical excellence.
As a Turret Treatment Coordinator, you will respond to the requirements of the Practice Manager with regard to all clinical and practice policies to deliver the highest quality of patient care. In addition, you will work under the Marketing Manager to achieve sales targets, increase brand awareness, build desire for the Turret Service offering, and promote the Turret Values.
Roles and Responsibilities
The post holder will:
Carryout private consultations both face-to-face and online through video consultation
Provide options on orthodontic treatments for patients, with an aim to ethically onset new patients with the best treatment for their needs.
You will provide an initial patient consultation and presentation of treatment cases, and payment options and further organise appointments and patient finance.
Carry out day-to-day tasks such as: Schedule patient appointments and help the patient to organise finances; record daily new patient starts and accepted figures; follow up outstanding treatments; organise patient recalls; hold free patient consultations; produce clinical findings and treatment option reports for patients; monitor new patient sources.
Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, social media messages, enquiry bot messages and emails from patients that are enquiring about treatment, using the Turret tone of voice. Ensure messages are responded to swiftly and ethically.
Take i-Tero scans, radiographs (if adequately trained), on request of the clinician, and photographs of patients.
Interact regularly with the Orthodontists, Orthodontic Therapists and follow their clinical guidance to ensure the communication to patient is accurate and appointments are in line with their treatment plan. Enter the prescribed treatment into the software, collate estimates and consents, and gather information sheets relevant to the case.
Liaise with treatment providers such as Invisalign, Spark Clear Aligners and American Orthodontics to keep abreast of the latest treatment advances, offers on the market, and our status as a leading provider in the marketplace.
Educate patients on their treatment, their current dental status and good oral hygiene in a positive way; ensuring they are cared for to the highest standard.
Track your patients through the entire treatment journey and ensure their payment status remains positive.
Use the PRM system to access leads, triage, invite for a consultation, communicate to patients, cross sell other products, and influence previous unconverted leads, using e-mail blasts and autoresponder tools.
Use the TIO Community Training platform to update your knowledge and contribute effectively to shared learning
Contribute to Marketing Insight, Social Media Marketing (including support to gain good content), and help organise Open Days.
Follow the social media, branding and marketing guidelines to deliver bespoke marketing communications to patients and unconverted leads.
Respond to all marketing and clinical communications and familiarise yourself/ follow the Marketing Activities Plan each quarter as outlined by the Marketing Manager.
Attend all clinical meetings as directed by the Practice Manager, and support with additional duties if needed by the Practice Manager to ensure the practice is running efficiently.
Follow procedures and policies of the practice and understand our philosophy, vision and values of the practice.
Achieve set targets each month and update sales sheets, monitor provider status and keep abreast of business strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Identify your training and development needs and undertake appropriate training [to maintain and increase competence in nursing skills by following an agreed CPD programme to comply with the GDC requirements]
Establish, promote and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the Turret Group
Liaise with the practice manager on all matters concerning administration, pay and service conditions
Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your work
Report equipment failures or breakages to the practice manager
Attend practice annual training for medical emergencies and CPR.
Ensure the best Orthodontic care is delivered to patients including patients with complex medical, physical and emotional needs.
Support and maintain high standards of patient care and infection control.
Provide an environment that encourages patient involvement where patients seek help, advice, and education.
Act as a positive role model within the practice for all staff and patients by upholding the Turret values; smiling, being solution focused and an exemplary team player.
Maintain regular, consistent and professional attitude, attendance, punctuality and adhere to the company's dress code policy.
Clinical Practice
The post holder will be expected to:
Greet patients on arrival in a courteous & professional manner.
Follow Cross Infection Control Policy as well as all practice policies and procedures at all times.
Maintain detailed & accurate clinical records.
Follow all dental ethical guidelines including rules on confidentiality.
Attend all regular practice and therapy meetings and ensure to follow through any associated action points.
Carry out any additional duties deemed necessary by the line manager.
Operate a variety of standard practice equipment as required.
Provide high quality treatment under prescription in accordance with the GDC Scope of Practice. The Scope of Practice will also link with duties in context of practice protocols.
Read the Turret Values and demonstrate them in your daily practice.
You may be required to work from our Liverpool branch occasionally
Education
The post holder will be expected to:
Maintain own continuing professional development in accordance with CPD requirements, thereby contributing to the formation of personal objectives and development plans.
Have clinical knowledge in the specialty area of engagement and assist Senior members of staff in delivering and maintaining the required high standards of quality care within the practice.
Be committed to furthering your professional development and to learning new skills (including improving your sales and marketing skills).
Communication
The post holder will be expected to:
Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, other staff members, professional bodies and external agencies.
Liaise with dental laboratories regarding work/reports for patients.
Communicate with other healthcare groups and work in collaboration with them regarding the patients' continuing care.
Provide oral health advice to all patients on a one-to-one basis, placing reasonable adjustments in place to support possible communication barriers where necessary.
Participate in relevant promotional days.
Provide telephone advice and reassurance regarding patients with emergency dental problems and support/educate the reception team where necessary.
use email and other effective channels of communication, in accordance to company guidelines.
Use the CRM system to track sales and marketing to potential customers
