Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic dentist to join our dynamic dental practice in the centre of Chester. Initially, the role will be to cover maternity leave for 9 months- 12 months with the scope to stay longer should you wish to.
You will have a full list with an NHS/ private mix and work in lovely environment: newly refurbished surgery with large windows, brand new DCI edge chair/bracket table, TV and sofa in the surgery, digital x-ray system, intra oral scanner and camera which is connected to the TV, OPG machine, CBCT machine and a dedicated qualified nurse.
The position is 4.5 days Mon-Fri, with a half day on a Friday. The working hours are 8.30am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-1pm on Fridays. There is opportunity for flexibility regarding this, but this would be upon discussion with the practice manger.
The contract would commence from April 2026 to cover 6000 UDAs at a rate of 13 per UDA with 50% private work payable to the associate on top of this.

High focus on training and development at the practice with regular peer review sessions/ training sessions in our dedicated training room.
On site free parking in the centre of Chester.
Rotary endodontic system
In house sprint ray machine which can be used to mill onlays/ veneers/ crowns reducing lab costs.
Hygienist NHS/ private on site
Fully computerised with clinipads in each surgery improving workflow
Education:
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (required)
Experience:
Associate Dentist: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
Valid GDC dental license to practice dentistry, and performer number, and Indemnity Insurance
