Duties
Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canal therapy with precision and care.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping.
Execute oral surgeries and dental extractions following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Provide pediatric dentistry services tailored to children's needs, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
Collaborate with the team on dental fabrication procedures, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialized treatments as required.
Ensure proper use of medical imaging equipment for diagnosis while maintaining knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology.
Uphold infection control standards through sterilization practices and proper handling of medical records.
Support patient care by explaining procedures clearly, managing expectations, and fostering a welcoming environment.
Qualifications
Valid dental license with eligibility to practice in the respective region.
Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on pediatric dentistry preferred.
Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health.
Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic procedures.
Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging standards.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation requirements.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with four-handed dentistry techniques.
