Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our friendly dental practice. We have availability for Tuesday or Thursday currently with alternate Saturdays (half day only). The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing oral health issues. The Dentist will work closely with a team of dental professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care in a welcoming environment.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to diagnose oral health issues. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Utilise medical imaging techniques to assess dental conditions accurately. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, including CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technologies for restorative procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution. Valid dental licence to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnostics. Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
