Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dynamic private dental practice part time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment journey. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for designing restorative dental work. Interpret medical imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care measures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient practice operations. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent qualification recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC). Proven experience as a Dentist in a clinical setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and treatments. Proficiency in CAD software and medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality care. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
