Out-of-Hours Emergency Dentist (Evenings & Weekends) - Liverpool

High Private Earnings | Flexible Shifts | No NHS Contract | 2 Days Per Week Minimum

Are you a GDC-registered dentist looking to increase your income, gain more clinical freedom, or diversify your working week with flexible, out-of-hours sessions?


Smart is currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated dentist to join our evening and weekend emergency team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to provide urgent and private care in a well-equipped practice with full clinical support and no NHS targets.

Role Overview

Weekday evenings: 5:00pm - 9:00pm Saturdays: 9:00am - 5:00pm Minimum of 2 shifts per week (ideally consecutive, but flexible) Choose shifts that suit your availability and commitments Immediate start available

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering emergency dental care, including pain relief, extractions, trauma and swelling management Providing private dental services to patients outside of core hours Maintaining high standards in patient care, record keeping, and infection control Working alongside experienced dental nurses in a fully modernised clinical setting

What We're Looking For

GDC-registered dentist with active indemnity cover Competent in urgent care and general private dentistry Confident communicator with a patient-first mindset Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain) Experience in emergency or unscheduled care preferred, but not essential

Our Sefton clinic (Liverpool, L20) is easily accessible via public transport and offers free on-site parking.
