is a multi-depot independent Plant & Tool Hire group.
We currently have a vacancy for a Depot General Assistant at our Kings Lynn Depot.
Reporting directly to the Depot Manager. This is a varied role that will include Yard Management, Plant Inspections, delivery & collection cover & the test & run of small tools hire equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Yard maintenance ensuring the yard operation runs smoothly & efficiently
Plant Inspections, clean down, refuel, etc
Test & run small tools machines, carrying out predetermined safety & pre- hire checks
Delivery & collection of light plant & tool hire equipment
Ensure all associated paperwork is completed promptly and efficiently.
Ensure Health & Safety and Company procedures are met at all times.
Be reactive and punctual at all times.
Have the ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.
Experience
Good local knowledge
Previous experience of test & run preferred but not essential
Full UK driving licence, Including towing.
CSCS card holder is advantageous
Benefits
Hours of work are a 40 hour basic per week 8am to 4:30pm Mon-Fri. Overtime may be required to meet business demands.
