Job Summary

The Depot Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the depot, ensuring efficient management of logistics of jobs and mobile tyre technicians, supply chain processes, and warehouse stock activities.

TYRE KNOWLEDGE IS ESSENTIAL .

This role requires a strong focus on profit and loss management, continuous improvement initiatives, and effective supervision of staff to meet operational goals. The Depot Manager will play a crucial role in optimising processes and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of depot operations Supervise and lead a team of office and depo staff, providing training and support as necessary. Implement process improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Utilise transportation management systems and warehouse management systems to streamline operations. Maintain accurate inventory levels through effective supply chain management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the depot. Conduct regular assessments of operational processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and their application in logistics. Familiarity with transportation management systems and stock management systems. Experience working with third-party logistics providers. Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles. Proficient in Tyre knowledge both PCR & TBR Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Commitment to continuous improvement practices to enhance operational performance.

Pay: 34,000.00-38,000.00 per year
