Our innovative approach to engaging and inspiring SEND children and young people in Derby through our immersive learning hub is one of the most exciting educational concepts in the UK. Our hub sees students learning through their love of 'all things tech', including gaming, programming, coding and our immersive digital physical equipment.
Who we are:
We work with, and for, individuals between the ages of 8-18 years, we cater for all abilities and capabilities. We teach skills such as practical-based technical repairs, interactive programming/coding and game/3D design, via our 'Game Education' approach.
Our main focus is on individuals with special needs, delivering specific programmes and activities to target people with a range of abilities. We provide regular workshops, one to one training and practical experience. We also provide work experience opportunities and support individuals to move into employment and education.
We provide an inclusive centre for short breaks, home education, after school clubs, and aim to create a space for building social skills through community. We hope to deliver entry level understanding in programming, Graphic Design, 3D design, IT Repair and Maintenance, whilst providing a space for Community, Inclusion and Education.
