About the Role

We are seeking a confident and experienced

Deputy Care Home Manager

to join our dedicated team in

Hartlepool (TS25)

. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and motivated individual with strong leadership skills to support the Home Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and promoting a positive and supportive environment for both residents and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home. Lead, mentor, and motivate the care team to deliver outstanding person-centred care. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies. Assist with staff recruitment, supervision, and development. Participate in care planning, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure effective communication across the team. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.

Requirements

Must hold

NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care

(or equivalent qualification such as RMA). Previous experience in a

supervisory or management role within a care home setting

is essential. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A compassionate and proactive approach to care management. Sound knowledge of CQC standards and best care practices.
