Deputy Care Home Manager



Salary:

33,000 - 35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours:

40 hours per week, including alternate weekends, and on-call support

Location:

Long Stratton, Norfolk

Working 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends, split over 3 to 4 supernumerary days and 1 to 2 care floor support days.

Main Responsibilities:



Leading the Care Team

: Set high standards of care and work alongside the care staff to implement them. You'll be the go-to person for your team, helping them grow, develop, and feel supported in their roles.

Managing the Home in the GM's Absence

: Ensure smooth operations when the General Manager is unavailable - your leadership will ensure continuity and stability.

Audit & Quality Control

: Work with the General Manager to set and review home standards, including ensuring monthly audits are conducted. You'll play a key role in maintaining the high standards we're known for.

Medications & Procedures

: Ensure medications are administered properly and that all procedures are followed to keep both staff and residents safe.

Rotas & Staffing

: Prepare and manage clinical staff rotas to ensure that our residents' needs are always met.

Administrative Duties:

Maintaining accurate records, responding to complaints, and ensuring compliance with CQC and other regulatory bodies.
