Broadleigh Care Home is a busy, family-run 35-bedded dual-registered home with a strong reputation for quality care. We are seeking an enthusiastic
Deputy Manager
to join our team and work closely with our long-standing, highly experienced Home Manager, who has mentored and developed three of our current Registered Managers.This is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved in both
personal care delivery
andsupporting the Manager with day-to-day operations
. When working on the floor, you will be thePerson in Charge
, confidently leading staff and supporting our nursing team (no clinical background required).Key aspects of the role include:
Working alongside the Manager on administrative and compliance tasks, with a good understanding of
CQC requirements
. Being a confident communicator with staff, relatives, and external professionals. Sharing theon-call rota
and making decisions in the Manager's absence. Embracing opportunities forprofessional development and progression

Pay: 29,000.00-31,000.00 per year
