As we expand our services, we're seeking a Deputy Manager who embodies our values and can help lead our team with professionalism and commitment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing the daily operations of the service, ensuring smooth and efficient care delivery
Supervise and support care staff, promoting a culture of excellence and empathy
Coordinate and manage staff rotas in conjunction with Care Co-ordinators to ensure adequate coverage for all client visits
Conduct initial assessments and contribute to the development of personalised care plans
Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate standards and other regulatory requirements
Support recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of care staff
Address client concerns and complaints with professionalism and sensitivity
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to ensure holistic care
Promote culturally sensitive care practices and inclusive service delivery
Act as the Registered Manager in their absence, maintaining continuity and quality.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a management role within the healthcare sector
RN/ RMN or SVQ Level 4 (Leadership & Management) in Health & Social Care preferred
Strong knowledge of assisted living, senior care, and dementia care practices
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs
Familiarity with medication administration protocols
Compassionate approach towards client care.
