Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul are seeking a Deputy Care Manager/Team Leader for our homely 10-bedded care home in Lanark. This is a new position that will complement our management team providing leadership, guidance, and professional direction to the care team, ensuring the delivery of high quality care, practice and effective teamwork.
Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul is a charity that is dedicated to serving the needs of poor, vulnerable and marginalised people. St Catherine's is the home of those Daughters who have devoted their lives to serving those in need and have now retired from active service.
St Catherine's is a small, 10 bedded, CI registered, friendly residential care home run by the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul. We care for our residents with great respect, compassion and dignity. Each resident is a Daughter of Charity who has carried out great charitable works throughout their lives and who now enjoy a homely and supportive sense of community in their retirement at St Catherine's, with the loving support of each of our team members.
The post holder will be part of the Senior Care shift rota, and will deputise in the absence of the Registered Care Manager, sharing the on-call rota, which will include weekend cover.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role in a care and support or similar environment and possess SVQ 3 and 4 (or willingness to work towards) in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
