Duties and Responsibilities



In this role, I will assist the Chief Concierge in managing the efficient operation of our department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards.



The duties and responsibilities will include:


Assist the Chief Concierge in his daily duties and management of the Concierges, Bellmen and Doormen. Processes will be constantly assessed and reviewed to remain relevant, innovative and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices. Responsible for responding to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum guest satisfaction while complying with hotel standards and policies. Anticipate guests' needs and implement procedures and standards that are guest focused. Assist guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Coordinate with departments for transfer related requests and assist guests with transfers to and from the hotel if required. Recommend, plan, schedule and make arrangement with guests for their preferred activities during the stay. Knowledge of all events and venues in London and are able to personally recommend relevant and appropriate experiences to guests. Have good working relationships with external agents, brokers and venues directly to ensure a high level of service is offered to our guests.

Qualifications





To execute the position of Deputy Chief Concierge, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:


Possess a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field plus two-four years concierge experience including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical skills include MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have excellent knowledge of guest related functions, guest service and local surrounding areas. Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
