Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and highly organised Deputy Dental Practice Manager to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental nurse looking to step into management and play a key role in the smooth running of a busy dental practice.

About the Role



As Deputy Practice Manager, you will support the Practice Manager in ensuring the highest standards of compliance, patient care, and staff performance. You will take an active role in day-to-day operations, including audits, risk assessments, training and supporting staff, and overseeing clinical governance. This position offers the chance to develop your leadership skills while making a real impact on the success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities



Assist the Practice Manager with compliance, including CQC, HTM01-05, GDPR, and Health & Safety requirements.

Conduct and oversee audits, risk assessments, and action plans.

Support the management and development of the nursing team, including mentoring, training, and performance reviews.

Maintain high standards of infection control and clinical governance.

Deputise for the Practice Manager in their absence.

Contribute to continuous improvement in both patient experience and staff wellbeing.

About You



We are looking for someone who is:

A qualified Dental Nurse with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience.

Ideally working as a Lead Nurse or has taken on additional responsibilities in their current role.

Experienced in compliance, audits, and risk assessments.

Confident in managing, supporting, and motivating a team.

Highly organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure with a positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 16.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
